End of Life Care

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner can face. At Animal Care Center of Tupelo, we are honored to support you through this emotional time with compassionate, dignified end-of-life care focused entirely on your pet’s comfort and your peace of mind.

If you’re uncertain whether it’s time, our team is here to help. We offer quality-of-life assessments and thoughtful conversations to help you navigate this decision. We’ll listen to your concerns, evaluate your pet’s condition, and walk with you every step of the way.

Things to consider:

  • Is your pet eating, drinking, and eliminating normally?
  • Are they mobile and alert, or sleeping most of the day?
  • Do they engage with family or seem withdrawn?
  • Are they experiencing chronic pain, illness, or frequent accidents?

When euthanasia is the kindest option, we ensure a peaceful, pain-free process. Your pet will be gently sedated before the final injection, allowing them to pass quietly and without fear.

At-home euthanasia is also available for families who prefer their pet’s final moments to be in the comfort of their own home. Please contact us in advance to discuss scheduling and availability.

We’re here to provide support, comfort, and care-because your pet is family.
